You can realize the advantages to our hosted imagize digital imaging system:
1. The physical environment is secure and robust:
- The data center is protected in a building constructed of concrete, steel, and granite that rests on high ground, and is not in a flood plain.
- All physical access is monitored and access to the data center requires going through 3 sets of security-controlled doors.
- All systems are monitored 24/7 for any signs of problems and most hardware issues are addressed before any functionality is affected. Spare computers are kept on "stand by", so in the event of a failure, although very unlikely, a system would be down for only minutes.
- Reliable connectivity through multiple internet connections with multiple ISP's (Internet Service Providers).
- Backup generators provide immunity from power failures.
2. Your information is safe:
- When you click the "Save" button in imagize™, your data is saved to the dedicated imagize™ computers within the data center.
- Within about 30 seconds, your data is then saved again to another Storage Area Network (SAN). The two SAN environments are physically a few blocks away from each other providing complete redundancy.
- Each night the SANs are backed-up to tape media. The backup tapes are then securely transported to a secure, commercial information storage facility a few miles away.
3. The facilities and staff meet strict regulatory guidelines:
- imagize™ clients consist of financial, medical and other information regulated industries. The data center and staff is compliant with HIPAA and other information privacy and data security regulations.
